A cereal bowl will be displayed in the middle of the ad.  The Shredded Wheat pieces will gather around the edge of the bowl, leaving a hole in the middle.  This is more appealing than positioning the cereal box as the centerpiece and will attract the reader’s attention.  It also emphasizes the key benefit of the product, making people feel like they need to eat healthy.  The original ad does not create a need that the product seeks to fulfill.
