I have been very fortunate to have had several, and varied, opportunities to reflect on my teaching, my scholarship of teaching and learning, and the educational mission of the "steward". This section brings together essays I have written at several points since arriving at Georgetown in 2002.

 

I was planning (as of March 2017) to 'spin off' a page just for work on the Mastery Rubric and another page just for work on Stewardship; when I can make time to do that, I will also be able to update my statement of Teaching Philosophy. The Mastery Rubric for Stewardship (https://www.mdpi.com/2227-7102/9/4/292) was completed in 2019 and a book outlining five Mastery Rubrics - including the MR for Stewardship, 4 or more years of learning outcomes that are derived from each MR, plus specific learning outcomes for one or two courses for each is completed (https://masteryrubric.org/). So there will be several opportunities for me to reflect on stewardship and that/those reflection/s will be posted here!
